Retreat Manager allows you to repeat a program and optionally setup a program to be part of a series. This functionality is only available via Retreat Manager and Retreat Manager Cloud.

Understanding the differences between repeat and series...

Repeating a program can be done for hosted and sponsored programs and actually copies the structure of the program (reservations, durations, meetings, etc.) to another date. This is useful to quickly repeat an existing program.

Making a series of programs allows for a parent/child relationship where the child programs are identical to the parent program (reservations, durations, meetings, etc.) but when a guest is registered in the parent program they are also registered in the children programs. The intention behind a series is that a guest would attend all programs - for example it is part of an educational series where the parts build on one another.

Repeating a program

Open Retreat Manager, find the program you want to repeat.

Right-click on the program and select 'REPEAT <Program Title>'

A notice will pop-up reminding you to be sure that you understand what aspects of the program will get repeated. Please read the notice to understand what is being repeated.

Click Next.

You will be prompted to choose how you want the program to be repeated. There are some convenient selections to repeat weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc. at the same day and time of the program being repeated. OR you can select to manually specify the dates.

If you chose 'Manually specified dates' and click Next you'll be prompted to select exactly which dates the program will repeat on.

Click Next to see confirmation of the dates.

Click Finish and you'll get a final confirmation of how many programs will be created.

Create a Series

Only sponsored programs can be part of a series.

Open Retreat Manager, find the program you want to repeat.

A notice will pop-up reminding you to be sure that you understand what aspects of the program will get repeated. Please read the notice to understand what is being repeated.

Click Next.

Check the box indicating you want the repeats to be children of the current program.

Series Programs are identified with two dots. An orange/red dot is the parent program and blue dots are the children.

When repeating a program or creating a series the title of the original program is repeated. You can go in and manually change the program titles to be whatever is appropriate for your situation - for example adding 'Part 2' to the title.

When marketing a series in Retreat Portal the dates for the program will list the date of the first program in the series and all additional dates. The details will appear as follows:
